CTL is committed to providing accessible online services to our learners and employers. Read here about the standards we adopt, the ways in which we test the site and the browsers we support.

 

Standards

We are committed to producing an accessible website to support our learners’ needs. We have followed relevant standards and good practice for accessibility and usability whilst developing our website, including the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

 

All CTL online content will uphold, as a minimum standard, level 'AA' .


Testing

Learners and Employers with a range of needs will regularly be consulted to identify the needs of our students and settings and to measure the performance of the current website in meeting those needs.

 

For major developments user testing will also be conducted.


Supported browsers

The benchmark audience for this site will be those with (at least) an HTML4.0 capable browser, on a connected device with the ability to display colour at a resolution of 1024x800. The site is designed for use in the following browsers:
