Cyber bullying

What is Cyber Bullying?

This is the term used to define bullying behaviour that takes place through mobile phone, email or on social networking sites. Texts, messages or images are sent to  embarrass or intimidate another person. Because cyber bullying is not done face to face, people often do not know who is doing it to them.

Cyber bullying is no different from any other type of bullying and people do not feel any less affected.

What will happen if you are being cyber bullied?

If you feel you are being cyber bullied, or know someone else who is, you should follow the same process as with any other type of bullying. Speak to a member of Chiltern Training staff.

Additionally there are help-lines and support sites which you may wish to use -
