Apprenticeships in Management


The advanced apprenticeship in Management has been written specifically for managers within the childcare sector and is aimed at childcare professionals who are supervising other staff either within a department or the whole setting.   

This qualification consists of
CMI Level 3 Diploma in Management (QCF)

 

As well as
CMI Level 2 Award in First Line Management (QCF)
Key or Functional skills Level 2 (English and Maths) 

It is aimed at those aged 19+ in a senior supervisory role and is only available to those who have not already achieved an apprenticeship framework. If you have already completed an apprenticeship, it is unlikely that you would be able to draw down funding for this programme.  However, you may do the Level 3 in Management if you can procure your own funding from your employer or local authority, or if you wish to study as a private student. To read the overview and some further information about this qualification, click here.
