The Advanced Apprenticeship programmes are either completely or partly funded by the Skills Funding Agency for learners aged 16—24. Employers may be asked to pay an employer contribution for candidates over the age of 19 due to the nature of the funding available. The average length of time taken to achieve the framework is between 18 and 24 months, but timescales are discussed and agreed during the drawing up of an Individual Learning Plan. E-learning facilities and extra tutorials are available for those who have the ability to fast track.
